The sun shone on Ladies Afternoon, with its bumper 8 race programme. Many ladies
took the opportunity to dress up, and around 2 dozen entered the 'best hat' and
best dressed lady. 140 ladies and gentlemen booked the all-in package in the
Executive Marquee.
This included a full luncheon and a fashion show by Browns of York and Helmsley,
and Adorn Hats.
A limited number of Private Viewing Boxes are
available for specific 2010
fixtures. These overlook the course close to the Winning Post and are ideal for

In 2005,
Thirsk Racecourse proudly celebrated 150
years of racing on the course at Station Road in Thirsk.
This has been continuous apart from periods around the two World Wars. Thirsk is - more then ever - a good choice for a day out at
the races, with high quality racing, good facilities and attractive
surroundings. Thirsk is easily reached from all directions on good
roads and is easily accessible from most parts of the North of England, making it a comfortable journey for coach parties
and a sensible venue for corporate or hospitality groups arriving from
widespread locations. We provide free transport from Thirsk Rail
Station on Race Days.
