The Chestnut Room
The latest addition to Thirsk Racecourse. With spectacular views over the racecourse, this 4,750 square foot building boasts a rooftop terrace of the same size, perfect for cocktails and reception drinks and can seat up to 240 seated guests or approximately 350 people in a theatre style layout. ITV Racing Presenter Ed Chamberlain described it as one of the best facilities of its kind in the UK.
The Hambleton Suite
a stunning room with arched mirrors, vintage pictures and its own dance floor. It has an adjoining reception room and is suitable for up to 200 guests (120 fully seated). This is one of our most popular rooms, so whether it be a Birthday Celebration, Christmas Party, Charity Ball or Wedding Reception, this room offers a little bit of luxury.
The Pavilion
Two large function rooms, suitable for up to 100 guests each (70 fully seated) and is ideal for a combination of events such as a conferences, smaller parties and exhibitions.
The James Herriot Hall
A large, modern hall-style building which is well suited for larger parties, and conference events, exhibitions and awards ceremonies, and comfortably seats 220 guests.
The Shrimp (Garden Room)
A more intimate venue within a small modern building and is ideal for Christenings, birthday celebrations and is situated close to the beautifully lawned Paddock. This room is perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings of up to 50 people.
Outdoor Marquees
For banqueting events with over 250 guests, we are able to offer private hospitality marquees in a number of different locations around the Racecourse.
