Our only evening meeting of the season gets a brand-new twist for 2026! We’re bringing full country vibes to Thirsk with live music from a country band, bucking broncos, line dancing, and all your favourite sausage and beer stalls. Dust off those cowboy boots and hats – this is an evening you won’t want to miss! To help everyone get into the spirit of the event, we'll be relaxing our usual Premier Enclosure dress code and encouraging racegoers to embrace the country and western theme. So whether it's denim, boots, hats or fringe, we can't wait to see your outfits! Our well-loved All Creatures Great and Small Family Day makes its return! With Thirsk’s close ties to the world of James Herriot, this raceday brings the charm of the Yorkshire vet to the racecourse with a brilliant mix of racing, animals, and family fun. Ladies’ Day is one of the most popular and glamorous dates of the Thirsk season. What’s On: Join us for a fabulous day featuring our Most Stylish and Best Hat competitions, with fantastic prizes generously provided by our partners.
