Ruby Lodge Care Home Sponsors Thirsk Racecourse
Ruby Lodge Care Home, set to open in 2024 in Thirsk, recently made a significant contribution to their local community by sponsoring a race at Thirsk Racecourse season opener event. Holly Hunton, the Home Manager, represented Ruby Lodge at the event, accompanied by various community contacts, gearing up for the home’s approaching open day.
‘Seeing Ruby Lodge feature on boards, screens, and announcements throughout the day added to the anticipation for our upcoming Grand Opening.’
‘The event was wonderful despite the rain. I was joined by local businesses such as Andrea Brazil, Home manager for Rowan Court, Sarah Gill – Teacher/business development organiser – at Thirsk High School, and Rob Rolls – Director of Community works. All of whom have been some of the wonderful supporters of Ruby Lodge Care Home in our build-up to our Grand Opening Day.’ Commented Home Manager Holly Hunton.
‘We were so well looked after by the team at Thirsk Racecourse, and it was an honour to watch ‘Sea the Dream’ win the Ruby Lodge Care home race. At the races, we also had so many exciting opportunities as we were able to walk through the paddocks to see the horses before their races, award the winning horse of our sponsored race, and meet the owners. Seeing Ruby Lodge feature on boards, screens, and announcements throughout the day added to the anticipation for our upcoming Grand Opening. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Ruby Lodge Care Home.’ Commented Home Manager Holly Hunton.
