Premier Enclosure Car Parking
All car and coach parking at Thirsk Racecourse is free of charge.
This is situated at the eastern end of the Racecourse, adjacent to the Premier Entrance.
This car park is reserved for:
- Premier badge holders
- Dining and Hospitality badge holders
- Owners & Trainers
- Press
Public Car Park
All car and coach parking at Thirsk Racecourse is free of charge.
Situated on the south side of Station Road, to the rear of the main stands, this is the most conveniently placed car park for those entering the Grandstand Paddock and Picnic Enclosure. An area close to the entrance is reserved for registered disabled Blue Badge car parking permit holders.
This car park is for:
- Grandstand and Paddock and Picnic Enclosure racegoers
- Ring bookmakers
- All racecourse, CGC catering and other contractors’ staff
Park & View Ticket
Park and View parking area is adjacent to the Family Enclosure at the western end of the Racecourse is the Park and View car park and is designated for those who wish to picnic out of the boot of their car, with a view of the track itself.
All Park and view ticket holders also have access to the rest of the Grandstand Paddock and Picnic Enclosure with viewing access to the Parade Ring.
Park and View tickets may be purchased in advance or on the day at the gate. They include entry with the vehicle for up to four adults (children are admitted free of charge).
Please note: if there are more than four adults in the vehicle, the additional adults will be required to leave the vehicle at the entrance and pay to enter the Family Enclosure through the adjacent turnstiles.
For those with mobility issues, please note the Park and View is at the far end of the Racecourse therefore Park and View may not be the most suited ticket option.
Directional signage is located as you approach the Racecourse and the Park and View Car Park is clearly signposted at its entrance (on the north side of Station Road, beyond the western end of the stands).
