Thirsk Racecourse Caravan Club

Caravan Club

Open May through September, Thirsk Racecourse Caravan Club site is managed by The Caravan Club on behalf of the Racecourse.

Whilst staying here you will be pitched within sight of Thirsk's historic main stand with the famous turf stretching out before you. Only a five minute walk from the caravan park you will find yourself in wonderful old cobbled market town of Thirsk, best known as home to the World's most famous veterinary author, James Herriot. With quaint shops, secluded side streets and rich local atmosphere, it is a wonderful place to visit.

Conveniently situated midway between the A1 and A19, Thirsk Racecourse Caravan Club site is at the very heart of stunning Herriot Country, ideally positioned between the simply magnificent Yorkshire Dales and the dramatic North York Moors, which makes for a natural overnight stay as well as an extended family getaway.
