The Club Members' Enclosure

Members' access to the parade ring
The Members Enclosure is suitable for  racegoers who want the full 'raceday' experience. Entry is controlled by a 'badge' issued either on an 'Annual' basis to Members, or as a 'Day Badge' for a single fixture. (Sponsorship and corporate parties are issued with Day Badges.) The expected dress code is smart - GENTLEMEN ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR COLLAR AND TIE. Facilities are summarised:
  • Unrestricted grandstand views across the course, opposite the finishing line.
  • Full access to the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure.
  • A choice of high quality catering and bar facilities. Meals can be booked in advance in The Hambleton Rooms.
  • Betting through the Tote and on-course bookmakers.
  • Day Badge price for 2008 is £19. For discounted season ticket admission, see  the Race Club section for membership details.

Club and Day Badge Holders have use of a private car park close to the exclusive entrance to the Club Enclosure.

There are top quality bar facilities in the Manton Suite and dining in the Hambleton Suite. All-inclusive packages are available on request. Between the stands, the Parade Ring and the Manton Suite is an extensive lawned area.
The Club (Members') Stand Catering in the Hambleton Rooms
Badge holders have exclusive use of the Club Stand with ample Tote facilities underneath, situated opposite the winning post, beside the main grandstand. A table set for lunch in the Hambleton Rooms.  Please note that this food and setting is illustrative only and is not indicative of the menu available on a given date (see below for details).
Thirsk Racecourse Dining Club

Clients can hire a table for the day in the Hambleton Rooms, at a fixed price of £72 per person, which will include Club admission, car parking, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, race card and wine.

Tables can be reserved for the entire day, although the management reserve the right to ask diners to share a table where small numbers are involved. Closed circuit television coverage of all races and a dedicated Tote facility is also available to diners. A number of unreserved tables are available to Badge Holders on a 'first-come, first-served' basis for dining a la carte.
