Membership offers a very cost effective method of attending our race fixtures
regularly. PLEASE work out which category of membership you require BEFORE
joining. If in doubt, ring Diane Pickersgill (01845 522276) for further advice.
Single adult or junior membership applies to one NAMED person and is not
transferable to another person.
Joint membership is categorised as below. No exceptions are allowed. |

*Associate Members will usually be husband and wife, but members of the same family RESIDENT
AT THE SAME ADDRESS are acceptable. Only one Associate Membership will be
allowed per family. BOTH badges are non-transferable.
**The Guest facility allows for ONE non-transferable badge and ONE transferable
badge which can be used on a guest basis for each meeting.
*** Junior Members may be asked for proof of age (copy of driving licence
etc) prior to issue of the badge, and must carry such proof when using the badge
at race meetings. The valid age range is from 1/1/87 to 31/12/91 inclusive.

bring up to TWO guests free of charge on Members Guest Day (date to be
announced). Guests require badges for the day, so
please apply for them in good time (by post, e-mail or phone (01845 522276).
THESE EXTRA BENEFITS BELOW ARE OFFERED TO MEMBERS
IN 2008.
As these facilities are provided by other agencies, Thirsk Racecourse has no
control over cancellation, refused entry, or changed dates. In the event of
cancellation, there is unlikely to be any replacement.

| Annual Membership badges remain strictly NON-TRANSFERABLE. All
members will be recorded as they enter the Racecourse and checks will be
applied. Anybody who is discovered abusing their membership by attempting to
gain admittance for other people will have it
withdrawn. |
| Dress Code |
| It is a requirement that ALL MEMBERS (inc Juniors) must wear a
collared shirt and tie. No jeans, trainers, shorts or T shirts. |

Members' Facilities on Racedays |
|
Members have the use of the Club Stand, The Hambleton Rooms and
the upstairs bar together with the Woolpack Bar situated at the car park end of
the course. The Manton Suite offers a large ground-floor bar for both Annual and
Day Members together with a wide range of refreshments. An all-inclusive meal
and racing package is available from the Manton Dining Club, on the first floor. The telephone number for
our caterers - Craven Gilpin - is 0113 287 6387 for anyone wishing to reserve a
table here or in the Hambleton Rooms Restaurant. |
